University of Arizona professor Alfred Quiroz and students from his fall 2006 mural painting class created this colorful, one-of-a-kind mural on the exterior south wall of the Phoenix Science Operations Center. The 20 by 60 foot mural celebrating the mission was made possible through a collaboration between the UA School of Art and the UA's Lunar and Planetary Laboratory.

这幅壁画表现的是凤凰号火星探测器从地球到火星的过程，由亚利桑那大学教授Alfred Quiroz和学生在2006年秋画的, 这幅画现在在凤凰号车间的南墙. 这是学校与Planetary机构合作的象征。
